Architect and associate professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Polytechnic University in Timișoara, Restoration supervisor for the 5th year of study as well as the Restoration, Regeneration and Heritage Reconversion design workshops for the 5th and 6th years, with a deep concern for the revalorization of heritage through contemporary theoretical tools.
Apart from the teaching activity, he set up the D PROIECT practice in Timișoara, with an activity of over 20 years in the field of heritage and interventions in historical landscape as the coordinator of several projects relevant to the current professional discourse (www.dproiect.ro), and was awarded various national and international prizes for his professional and teaching activity.
Over the years, his professional activity was also complemented by the participation to several cultural projects which have contributed to strengthening the balanced discourse between the profession and the academia.
