He graduated from “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urban Planning (2003) and holds a Franco-Romanian master’s degree in Integrated Urban Development (2005).

He is a PhD Associate Professor at UAUIM and the course coordinator of “Photography as a Methodical Study Tool in Architecture” at UAUIM; author of books The Code of Photography, 2023, The Role of Photography in the Study of Architecture and Urbanism, 2021, Photography as a Knowledge and Methodical Research Tool for the Urban Image, 2012; author and co-author of studies and projects in education, commerce, administration and the residential field as well as articles on architecture and architecture photography.

Member of expert juries, coordinator of workshops and talks about the dynamics of the street&urban environment which incorporate photography as a methodical working tool, both in Romania – Bucharest, Timişoara, Baia Mare, Cluj, Constanta, and abroad - Paris, Marseille, Rouen, Yerevan, Baku.

Author of many personal architecture and urban photography exhibitions both in Romania (Bucharest, Cluj) and abroad (Berlin, Lisbon, Toulouse, Padua). Listed in the “Forbes Heroes” list by Forbes Romania in 2016; winner of the low-light section of the open competition Sony World Photo Awards in 2014; prize in the international urban photography competition CBRE Urban Photographer of the Year in 2011; mention in the international architectural competition “Nomad Art” organized by EALR-GAIA, France, 2003.
